Ikarie’s stunning Arde is my top pick for 2023, so I just had to go back and get this more subdued, autumnal gem. This band’s music has touched me like nothing else this year, maybe even this decade. Agonizing and ecstatic! And yes, Ikarie does scratch that Amenra itch, without the screech.

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks.
